Radisson Hotel Group india: Radisson Hotel Group signs 11 new hotels in India

Radisson Hotel Group said on Thursday that it has signed 11 new hotels across India brands between January and April this year.

The company said these new hotels are present across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ujjain, Raipur, Sonamarg, Manali, Kerala, and Visakhapatnam.

The group also announced the debut of its luxury lifestyle brand, Radisson Collection in India with the signing of the first hotel in Hyderabad while expanding its portfolio across other brands, including Radisson Blu, Radisson, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, and Radisson Individuals Retreats , a brand extension of Radisson Individuals. The company said it has 110 operating hotels in over 64 locations in South Asia.

The Group also signed three new hotels under its Park Inn & Suites by Radisson brand in Bengaluru and Kerala.

Asylum seekers will be told to share hotel rooms, says the Tory minister

Thousands of single male asylum seekers across the country are to be told to share hotel rooms in a push by Rishi Sunak’s government to bring down costs and act as a deterrent to those arriving in small boats.

The decision comes amid a major row over a group of asylum seekers who staged a protest after being forced to give up single rooms at a hotel in Pimlico in central London. The group apparently refused to stay at the Comfort Inn after the Home Office had asked them to sleep “four people per room”.

Ministers will roll out a national policy asking the hundreds of hotels hosting asylum seekers to try to put two, three or four single adult males in one room, according to the Sunday Telegraph.

A lucky teacher in the local New England area could get married for free at Newport’s newly rebranded Harbor Island Resort next year after winning the hotel’s recently announced giveaway.

Harbor Island Resort, formerly known as Gurney’s Newport Resort and Marina before it was sold to Pebblebrook Hotel Trust in summer 2022 for $174 million, announced the giveaway on May 3 in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Day.

“We really just want to be more involved in the community than the property has been in years past, especially as we experience this rebranding,” said Marketing Manager Nicole Rugg.

The church of San Pietro ad Oratorium is in the municipality of Capestrano about 40 km from L’Aquila. Left of the main portal there is a stone, a relic of the ancient 9th-century construction, inserted into the walls upside down. It contains the so-called ancient magical square, formed by five words of five letters each that can be read from left to right, from right to left, from top to bottom and from the bottom to top.

The five words “rotas – opera – tenet – arepo – sator” that means “everywhere-operates-holds-plow-sower”, have been variously interpreted, and some researchers thought that they hid the anagram of “Pater Noster”.
