Funky Fish 3rd Edition – Aroma Of Life

Think of a plush five star banquet, high-end brands and an eclectic theme based decor : that’s Funky Fish for you. After the first two editions of Enchanted Garden and Dream Catcher, this year’s theme was “Patakha Pop”. The brands were a mix of apparel, jewelery, footwear, skincare and sweet treats.

What made this couture event unique was the fact that most of these brands had options for customization such as personalized footwear, chocolates, soaps and food hampers. Also loved that they tried to make it a holistic experience by adding a stall from Tarot Tales. Some of the participating brands were Outhouse Jewelery, September Spring, Weave In India etc.

Should I declare a past medical condition to my travel insurer?

Gill Charlton has been fighting for Telegraph readers and solving their travel problems for more than 30 years, winning refunds, righting wrongs and suggesting solutions.

Here is this week’s question:

Dear Gill,

This year my wife and I set about buying annual travel insurance for visits to Europe. We’ve used Aviva in the past, so I telephoned an agent to discuss cover. I told him about my wife’s operation for bladder cancer in February 2020 and that annual check-ups had since been clear. We were told that, as the condition was resolved more than two years ago, it was no longer an issue.

However, the premium of £260 for both of us was quite high, so I entered our details into Moneysupermarket’s comparison site. The only question asked was: “Do you have a pre-existing medical condition?” I answered “No” on behalf of both of us. The site then offered a

Travel Insurance for a China Vacation (2023)

Travel insurance is not mandatory to enter China, but traveling uninsured poses a significant risk. No matter how you spend your time in China, you should have a travel insurance plan that will provide coverage for delayed or canceled flights and other concerns.

Mainland China is a popular vacation destination for travelers looking for adventure. Activities like hiking the Great Wall of China, seeing the terracotta warriors and exploring the Forbidden City will excite the culture-inclined. Foodies can enjoy delicacies like Peking duck, Chinese Hot Pot and traditional Char Sui. Meanwhile, cities like Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing offer a metropolitan escape.

Your trip to China could be canceled due to a disease outbreak, or you could require medical coverage if you become ill during your trip. Likewise, US exit bans can be enforced without warning, which could leave you stranded if you don’t have insurance coverage.

Supreme Court Ruling On Student Loan Forgiveness: Latest Updates

The Supreme Court is expected to issue an imminent ruling on President Joe Biden’s landmark student loan forgiveness plan. The Court released four decisions on Thursday, but none were on Biden’s student debt relief initiative.

Thursday had been the last official day on the Supreme Court’s calendar to release opinions. But that doesn’t mean the decision isn’t coming. The Court will add additional dates for releasing decisions, as several cases remain outstanding.

Here’s what to expect.

The Supreme Court Will Soon Rule On Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness Plan

The Biden administration’s student loan forgiveness initiative would provide millions of borrowers with one-time debt relief. Borrowers who earned income within program guidelines could receive $10,000 or $20,000 in loan forgiveness on government-held federal student debt,

Travel Insurance for an Ireland Vacation (2023)

Ireland doesn’t require travel insurance for US visitors. But coverage for medical events, trip cancellations and rental cars can save you from losing money to sunk costs and expensive medical bills. The US Embassy warns that US health insurance may not work in Ireland, and you may have to pay healthcare expenses upfront.

Travel to Ireland often requires connecting flights. A delay or cancellation could have a snowball effect, causing you to miss the next leg of your journey or lose hotel reservations. Strong Atlantic storms or ash from volcanic eruptions in neighboring Iceland could halt flights. Trip cancellation insurance accounts for these unexpected events.

Finally, despite good driving infrastructure, Irish roads compared to US roads are narrow and winding, which may challenge many American tourists. It’s a smart reason to take car rental insurance.

Here are the five travel insurance policy types to consider when planning an Ireland getaway.

Here’s How To Protect A Million-Dollar Trip

With a $60,000 price tag for a family birthday trip to the Mayan Riviera, LaDell Carter knew he couldn’t recommend just any travel insurance to his client.

The custom itinerary featured accommodations in five-star hotels with spa treatments, gourmet meals prepared by a private chef, and plenty of time on Mexico’s white sand beaches.

Carter, the founder and lead travel designer at Royal Expression Travels, had done his research, so when he came to recommend a travel insurance policy, he didn’t hesitate: He suggested a luxury policy from Redpoint Travel Protection.

For $2,400 for a family of four — roughly four percent of the cost of the trip — they could get coverage for the prepaid, non-refundable expenses, plus emergency medical, evacuation coverage and trip interruption.

She had travel insurance but injured BC woman still left with a $50K bill

A BC woman is suing an insurance company after she was handed a massive medical bill following her vacation last year.

According to the lawsuit, Chuan Chao was in Texas when he tripped and fell on a sidewalk. The retiree from Surrey was left with severe injuries when he fractured his femur and required surgery in a Houston hospital.

Unlike some other travel horror stories, Chao was prepared for the worst-case outcome and had purchased medical insurance ahead of her trip. She bought it for coverage for her trip through the Pacific Blue Cross and was covered from June 4 to July 2, when she was set to return home.

However, after her surgery, she could not walk and was advised by an orthopedic surgeon that, as a result, “she could not travel.”

Not only that, while she was released from the hospital two days after being injured, she also
