Murdoch Travel hosting grand opening at new location Saturday
Murdoch Travel, which has been in business for more than 30 years, will host a grand-opening celebration at its new location in Barrie on Saturday, June 17.
There will be light refreshments, special offers, prize giveaways and the opportunity to talk to experts about world travel.
“We are thrilled to announce the grand-opening celebration of our new location,” Murdoch Travel president Jeff Clarke states in a news release. “This event is an opportunity for us to connect with the local community, showcase our dedication to exceptional customer service, and inspire travelers to embark on remarkable journeys. We can’t wait to see your smiling faces and share this momentous occasion with you. “
The grand-opening celebration will take place at the new Murdoch Travel office located at 28 Currie St., Unit 5. Doors will open to the public at 12 pm and the festivities will continue until 4 pm
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick off the occasion.
“This symbolic moment will mark the official opening of the new location and signify a new chapter in Murdoch Travel’s dedication to serving the community,” the company stated in a news release.
Company officials say “travel has never been more popular,” from romantic escapes to family vacations and other “extraordinary” journeys.
There will also be a silent auction and a chance to win travel vouchers.
