Windstar Cruises has launched its Summer 2028 Europe season, offering five yachts including Star Explorer, Star Legend, Star Pride, Wind Spirit, and Wind Surf for Mediterranean and Northern Europe sailings from March through October. The season features 348 itinerary combinations, ranging from four-day trips to a 53-day Grand Mediterranean Adventure spanning Tenerife to Venice.
New additions for 2028 include an expanded Germany program with sailings through the Kiel Canal and Elbe River, timed with Hamburg’s major maritime festival, and a new port in Ireland’s Aran Islands. The British Isles exploration is enhanced aboard Star Explorer, the newest yacht in the fleet.
In the Mediterranean, prime summer opportunities allow guests to swim and paddle directly from Windstar’s marina, visit smaller ports, and explore Greece, Italy, France, and Croatia during peak season. The program also introduces expanded Grand Prix sailings, a Mystery Cruise roundtrip from Athens, and options for extended exploration.
“Europe is a destination many of our guests return to again and again, and in 2028 we’re giving them new ways to experience places they may think they already know,” said Stijn Creupelandt, chief operating officer of Windstar Cruises. He added that the itineraries provide a different perspective on Europe by sailing farther into destinations and timing voyages around cultural events, creating a compelling reason for advisors to engage both first-time and repeat guests.
Early Booking Offer for Advisors
Advisors can offer clients an Early Booking Offer for eligible 2028 Europe voyages booked by October 31, 2026, including a complimentary All-Inclusive package with Wi-Fi, gratuities, and unlimited select beer, wine, and cocktails; a $100 shipboard credit per guest; and 5% savings on cruise fares when paying in full at booking. The Pay Now, Save More offer can be combined with the Early Booking Offer and Yacht Club Member benefits.
