Apaleo’s MCP server has seen a 70% increase in usage during the third quarter, with sequential growth of 23% between July and August, and 38% between August and September. This growth affects both independent and structured operators, with a focus on use cases for personnel, such as revenue management, forecasting, reservations, and reporting.
According to Apaleo, the increase is driven by the need to automate repetitive tasks, standardize access to data, and avoid specific integrations for each tool. A study cited by the company, h2c Hotel Chain Tech Report 2026, found that 91% of hotel chains now use AI, but only 15% have a standardized data access layer. The integration with existing systems remains a recurring obstacle.
In this context, a common interface like MCP aims to reduce complexity and accelerate the deployment of concrete use cases. Apaleo co-founder Philip von Ditfurth notes that hoteliers are no longer questioning whether IA agentique can work, but rather how quickly they can delegate more tasks to them.
Von Ditfurth explains that what has changed is access. When an operator can give an agent access to reservations, rates, and customer data in real-time, the work can be executed. Previously, migrations of PMS that took weeks were realized in just a few hours, and forecasting work that mobilized three people for 15 days was completed the same day.
Use Cases
Several examples illustrate the uses cited by the company. Appenzeller Hotels updates its upgrades and streamlines reporting. Brera Serviced Apartments has built a “data lake” and accelerated the production of forecasts. McDreams Hotels automates processes that previously required employees to consult data several times a day.
Christoph Klein, Chief Marketing Officer at McDreams Hotels, details that they can automate repetitive processes, obtain relevant information more quickly, and use IA agentique to answer questions that would have otherwise taken hours of work. He notes that they are still at the beginning of the journey, but the potential goes beyond time savings to better exploiting the data they already have.
Apaleo’s MCP server was launched in September 2025, marking the entry of PMS into “IA agentique” at the platform level. In spring 2026, the publisher added an integrated conversational copilot to execute requests in natural language.
